Website Design the Latest Trends

Website design has evolved since the beginning of Internet. The first page uploaded on a web server was just a simple document with black text. This page was created by Tim Burners Lee, the founder of internet. Since then, websites have evolved into a more complicated combination of design and code. In late 1990s, websites were designed using colors and text effects. The design was simple and the web pages looked more like brochures.

The internet boom and the opportunity to do business online changed the look and appeal of websites entirely. People were flocking to tap the online market and get the first mover advantage. They developed visually compelling sites to attract visitors and more sales. The websites were crammed full of information and there were lot of colors on a single page. Those websites managed to do well for sometime although they were a nuisance and most of the people use to run away from those websites. Those websites had overlapping colors, big text and some eye popping text effects which used to you're your attention away from the main product/service. There were multitude of bright color with intrusive text and those websites were crammed full of information.

Then, came the internet recession, this was a golden period for website designs. People learned from their past mistakes and started to design some engaging sites that allowed the visitor to focus on the main product/service they were offering. But there was one drawback; the internet population was going through a learning curve and they used to think that simple websites are designed cheaply and used to run away. To solve this problem, most of the big players changed their website design to interactive flash based movies which used to impress visitors with the flexibility and uniqueness of flash based design.

Website Design the Latest Trends

Those were the times when HTML, DHTML and Flash were used to create website designs. The table based design was good but it had some limitations; lots of codes to write and implement style on each and every object on the web pages.

To address this problem, CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) was introduced and many designers adopted it to get rid of long codes. CSS is the latest trend in web design. There are no tables to draw. You can use the div tag to assign styles to any object or component on the web pages.

The latest trend in website design is the result of a 15 year evolution that occurred step wise. Now website designs are more mature and they are centered on the content of the website; not the other way around. Layouts are hot these days. Good web designers are using layouts to direct visitor's attention to the content and not the design. The designs are aesthetically developed to soothe the visitor eyes and keep them engaged. The liquid layouts are things of past.

Now designers are more inclined toward creating perfect layouts and keep the background simple. The website is intentionally left blank outside the layouts to avoid distraction. The images and icons are used to highlight certain points and videos are embedded on the sites to provide dynamic content that will engage the visitors instantly. Subtle and light colors are used to complement the design. 3D gradients and reflection effects are current trends.

All in all, website designs are getting better day by day. The mature professional look is more important than cramming and stuffing of images, icons and other design components. Less design and more content is the rule of today's online era and it has given visitors reason to think about the product/services they are interested in rather than appreciating or loathing the design of a website.

The future of website design is very promising. In future, dynamic content like videos and images will be used to attract and entice visitors. As the internet progresses towards becoming the sole business platform for most of the major businesses, the website design will be considered less important. Content will rule and design will only be there to complement it.

Small Business Website Design - 7 Essential Elements

Small Business Website Design is more than just coding HTML or using pre-made templates to add some content. Having a good small business website design is about including all the elements required to ensure your visitors have a pleasant experience on your website where they can trust you and find answers to their questions.

Include these 7 elements in your small business website design and you will have a small business website that will rank well in the search engines and will convert your visitors into customers.

A clear purpose

Small Business Website Design - 7 Essential Elements

It has to be clear from the first seconds your visitor lands on your page. Tell your visitor exactly what you're offering. You should decide exactly what course of action your targeted visitor should follow. Then guide your reader along that course with clear content, and avoid anything that might distract their attention or divert them from that course.

Clear customer benefit

This is where you load your copy with evidence as to how the reader's life will be improved by your products or services. Here is where you talk about your skills, how your products are better, cheaper, last long or whatever added value they offer. It's about giving details of the materials or special techniques you use can influence a visitor to purchase from you. Showing pictures, providing customer feedback or case studies can help a visitor answer some questions they might have and help you close the deal.

Onscreen reader friendliness

Avoid using long paragraphs and an a large amount of pictures on your landing page. The home page makes the introduction to the reader. It is where you present your offer and explain how you will be changing the reader's life and to fulfill a call to action. To give more details or information direct your visitors to other pages designed to do just that.

Clear language

A small business should use a personal approach where you introduce yourself in the first or second paragraph - just as if you were shaking hands with someone. Take advantage of the fact that people feel comfortable much quicker if they know there's a real person, not a faceless company, on the other end of the line. If you are a one man business don't be shy and use "I" in your copy. Make the connection with your reader and give him the real picture of what your business is all about.

Professional impression

The small business website should be simple and use colors that are appropriate for their business. Keeping the style of dark text on a light background is easier to read and project a more professional image than using dark backgrounds or neon colored fonts. Small businesses should use a simple two column layout with a large area for the main content and a sidebar for other items. The website navigation should be at the top with the company's main logo and contact information. In the sidebar you should have an about me section with your picture and a few lines on your career as business owner. The sidebar is also a great place for your main contact option, sales offers, news items, upcoming events and so on.

Search engine friendliness

Website titles can contain more than one key word and every single page should have its own separate title. The main website title should be the business' main keyword along with the company name or geographical location like "Custom Handmade Humidor by Arlin Liss" or "Central Air Repairs and Installations -- Burbank, CA." Then when you create pages and articles for your website you include to long keywords in the tile of each page. "What to Put on a Small Business Website -- An article by Daniel Morel". Each page is designed to bring in it's own traffic. So the more pages targeting the right keywords you have the better the chances of your site being indexed by the search engines.

Inside every single page you place the keywords for that page inside headings, sub headings, picture captions, links, bold, italics and so forth. When it is done right it looks natural to readers and still does its job with search engines.

Clear call to action

Will visitors know what to do once you've convinced them that they must own what you sell or hire your services? Once you have engaged your reader there should be little distractions on the path to the call to action. The website copy needs flow directly into a single call to action. Finish the body copy with a direct appeal, e.g. "Why not get in touch with me right now?" or "Ad to Cart".

When designing a business website just remember to keep free of clutter and excessive animations introduce yourself and what you do and to solve your visitors problems by answering their questions. When you create content that is optimized for both the readers and the search engines by concentrating a few keywords per page but using the keywords as often as possible you increase the chances of being indexed by the search engines. And always remember that a simple and well organized website will make your business look more professional and attract more qualified prospects. Could Google.com be any simpler?

Web Design - The Art of Designing Websites

As the name suggests Web Designing is the art of designing websites. A website is a collection of web pages which contain content like data, images, videos and other information or in other words, a website is a collection of electronic documents and applications.

A web page is written in plain text containing some instructions in Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML). Web Designing is the process of creating content and providing to the user through internet or most specifically through World Wide Web. Creating such a website requires good graphic design, easy and intuitive site navigation, logical site layout and good web copy.

The goal of most web designers is to create an attractive, easily accessible and functional website that will convince the visitor to become potential customers. HTML is a common language for building and designing website. Whether you are building a brand new website, or re-designing an old website he should always keep in mind that a web designer needs to consider a variety of online selling principles while designing an e-commerce website.

Web Design - The Art of Designing Websites

It is not necessary that the designer should have complete knowledge because most of the content is the simple text. A little bit understanding of HTML can do as the HTML tags are for the understanding of the browser. The designing of websites also depend on the type of web page to be designed whether it is static or dynamic page.

There are two types of web pages:-

Static Web Page: The page whose content does not change until any manual changes are made. Dynamic Web page: The page whose content changes depending upon the input from the user or the computing environment.

Depending upon the demand of the client web is designed accordingly. So web designing is the skill of designing documents electronically and it should be attractive, fast-loading, user friendly, focuses on your content and has a high stickiness factor to it. Thus a good designed website decides the flow of traffic.

Design Italian Tattoo

There seems to be a large audience interested in tattoos written in foreign languages. From Celtic to Egyptian, and Japanese to Native American (tribal), the array or writing is almost limitless. In more recent years, the Italian language has taken a step forward into the world of tattoos. Originating in the bigger cities of New York, Chicago, Boston, Miami, and San Francisco, the idea of Italian inspired tattoos has swept the nation. From simpler tattoos such as their National flag or several word sentences, to full back or full sleeve covers, it seems that this is one trend definitely here to stay!

The largest problem with breaking through the language barrier, is making sure the tattoo reads correctly. One mix up in the lettering and your work of art becomes a work of hilarity! Take pesca and pesce. The word pesca means "peace", which is a word that many people like to add to tattoos. However, the word pesce may look similar, but it means "fish"! How about the word amare meaning "love", whereas the term amaro means "bitter"! It seems that the most logical way to avoid such catastrophic mistakes would be to do lots and lots of research. After all, when you are "inked", it is something that needs to be deep, meaningful, and special to you personally. It certainly should, since it is meant to be a permanent fixture on your body!

Italy has an opulent history of one subject - LOVE (AMARE). You have the romantic gondolas that float happy couples up and down the waterways. You have the fantastic paintings upon the Sistine Chapel. Moreover, what is better than that of the cuisine - from Margehrita pizzas in Northern Italy, to the sauces that accompany pasta dishes in Southern Italy? (A bit of cuisine history - red pasta sauces are native to Southern Italy, and white pasta sauces are native to Northern Italy!)

Design Italian Tattoo

From the famous attitude attributed to rocky Balboa (the Italian Stallion); to Sophia Loren's famously voluptuous physique, the ambiance and sexiness of the Italian people can also be constructed into Italian designed tattoos. Many of the Italian tattoos originated in the world of gangs and penal facilities. If there were one way to decipher the true loyalty of a gang member, a tattoo would certainly do it! However, the bad-boy-gang-banger-tattoos eventually transcended into the common public, only with a slight twist. No longer utilizing the darker phrases that exemplified a gang member, the Italian language in tattoos began to lean more toward the lovey-dovey side.

Now, words such as "Beauty" (bella), "Love" (amare), "Peace" (pesca), and "Forever" (per sempre), have taken over, alluding to the Italian life of passion and relaxation. The more recent tattoos designed in Italian; tend to lean toward the "_____ Forever"-types. Whether it says Live Forever (In Tensione Per Sempre), or is a single word under a larger tattoo, it seems that the Italian language has not only seeped into American culture, but literally into our skin as well!

Design of Rain Gutter Systems For Home Construction

After I received the 2008 edition of the State of Michigan building code I eagerly looked through the table of contents for rain gutters only to find no mention of these troubling troughs that hang at the edges of a roof. So I looked to the index only to be disappointed again. There was no mention specifically of rain gutter systems to be found. I am a licensed building contractor here in Michigan and have been repairing, reworking and cleaning gutters for over five years. Gutters are not designed into a house; they are simply tacked on as an afterthought by workers of various skills and abilities.

The long term maintenance problems and damage caused by poorly designed and installed gutters cost millions of dollars. Millions of dollars from injuries and even the death of homeowners trying to clean their gutters must also be taken into account. Start with the grade; how does water naturally flow around the house? The roof and gutters should be oriented so the water flows away from the house and never over walks, drives, decks or patios. A cistern to hold water for irrigation can then be the starting point for the design of your house.

Here are several design details that should be incorporated into the building code:

Design of Rain Gutter Systems For Home Construction

1. A downspout is required for a run of gutter not to exceed twenty feet. This will allow for slope of 1/20" per linear foot giving proper drainage. This will decrease molds, mildew and breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Subtract one foot for every inside or outside mitered corner. Example: a run of gutter with two turns should not exceed 18' without a downspout.

2. Downspouts will be of the "commercial" (3" X 4" or 4" round) size. The larger pipe will not clog with leaves and seeds as easily.

3. Gutters draining upper roofs over lower roofs must be accessible by ladder from the ground.

4.Downspouts will be fixed to the gutter by cutting tabs into the bottom of the trough then bending them down to allow a screw or pop rivet to fix the downspout to the gutter. This eliminates the outlet flange which leaks and causes leaves and seeds to catch.

5. One-piece "offset" elbows will be used instead of two-piece elbows that are commonly assembled on-site now. In my experience I have yet to see these one-piece offsets clog. The upper two-piece elbow is where the vast majority of clogs are found. Many times the entire downspout has to be removed and taken apart to clear the clog.

6. The vertical pipe will have a maximum of three turns; two at the outlet for the gutter and one at bottom extension.

7. Downspout pipes that are not vertical must be avoided!

8. The bottom of the lower elbow will be at least one foot above the grade with a four foot extension.

9. Downspouts or gutters will NEVER be let out onto a roof surface or into a roof valley!

10. A minimum of two pipe bands will be used for every downspout or every ten feet of downspout to fix the vertical pipe to the house.

11. "Internal" or "hidden" hangers with screws will be used instead of gutter nails. These internal hangers are far superior to old-fashioned nails that must be located precisely in the ends of rafters, ceiling joists or trusses to work properly.

12. "Two-by" ( 2 X 6 or 2 X 8) lumber will be used instead of one-inch planks now used to make the fascia. The lumber will be covered with pre-coated aluminum to permanently seal the wood from the elements. This will allow the internal hangers to be placed every twenty-four inches with little need for precision.

13. A gutter hanger will be at least six inches from the center of an outlet.

Too often houses are designed for curb appeal and the roof is not a considered as a functional system to protect the home from the elements but as a fashion statement. The gratuitous use of steep slopes, valleys, ridges, dormers, gables and even turrets will only decrease the long-term value of a house. Reducing water run-off and enhancing the irrigation needs of the landscaping can be a huge benefit to the environment. The cost to replace roofs, clean and maintain gutters and the potential damage from water intrusion must be balanced with the aesthetics of the home: form follows function; beauty is found in the functionality of the design.

Website Design - What Is The Value In Hiring A Professional Web Designer?

Designing a website is not something you can take lightly. There are all types of tools that are supposed to make the job easy, but these tools are not for everyone. One of the main problems with them is that they are tough to use when it comes to making a website that is going to look professional. Sometimes the final result looks a little bit too cookie cutter. You might not think there any benefits to hiring a professional website design company, but the reality is that when done right it is a good investment.

Visitors to your website are going to respect it much more

Now there is no real way for any visitor to know if you hired a professional to help you design your website. However, there are more than a few ways to know if you did not. If you do not have the skills to make a professional looking website and you try to do it anyway, your site will end up looking amateurish. Your website will have bad functionality and will not look like a website that was made by someone who is serious about what they do. You want your website to project a certain image right?

Website Design - What Is The Value In Hiring A Professional Web Designer?

Well a professional website designer can help you with this. They can communicate with you and make sure they add the components you need for your website to make sure it creates the image you need in order to get visitors to do what you want them to do. With a professional looking website visitors are going to be far more likely to buy products from you, recommend your website to others, and come back again and again. Your website is going to be easy to navigate and it will be simple to find whatever information a visitor might require.

Your website is going to load up faster

When you try to make a website yourself you might not know how to test it the way it needs to be tested in order to make sure it loads up the right way. If your website is not loading the right way or if it is loading too slow this will need to be fixed. Maybe you installed too many graphics on the site and it is causing you to have problems. Maybe you might not know what is going on at all. Well, a professional website design person will know how to diagnose such problems and make sure your site is running as fast as it needs to.

This is going to lead to more visitors seeing your website. In the age of Google competition this is very important. Users are not going to stick around long to wait for a website to load. There are far too many other options for them to wait. It gets worse. Once a visitors leaves your website because it took too long to load there is a very strong chance they are not going to come back. They are not going to want to go through the hassle and they are going to tell everyone else about the same problems they had.

A professional will make sure your website is up to date

No matter how much you think you might know about website design, odds are you are not going to have the time or the energy to keep up with all of the trends you will need to follow. You might not believe trends are important, but they are. Think of social media for example. In the past website did not have social media buttons that allow them to share information on a site with potentially thousands of other internet users with the click of a mouse, now they do. You can even use Facebook to add a comments section to any piece of content you want on a site.

Do not think for a second that in the future things will not shift again. Keeping up with these trends is tough and time-consuming, but a professional website design person is going to be able to do it. In fact it is their job to do it. By them knowing what the latest trends are and being able to keep up with them they set themselves apart from the competition and make it easier to choose them.

A professional will make sure your site is SEO optimized

Now there are other companies you could hire to help you with SEO, but there are designers out there who have multiple skills and they know how to design a website so that it is friendly to the search engines. It is not going to be their job to focus so much on the content you create, just making sure the website as a whole is optimized the right way so you have more than a fighting chance to rank for the niche your website is in.

SEO is a puzzle to a lot of people, and Google does not make it any easier. A good website design person will make sure they keep up to speed with what Google is doing and they will make sure your website avoids being punished because of something they might do or something you might potentially do. However, if you would prefer to let someone do this part for you, then that is up to you as well.

A website designer, one that is good, is going to cost you a moderate amount of money. In order for you to not question the money you spend you have to feel good about what you are going to be getting, but I feel it is better to consider what you are trying to build; You are trying to build a website that is going to draw visitors, generate revenue, and create a presence on the internet you will be proud of. How much is this worth to you? Do not be afraid to invest in the services of a professional website designer if you do not know how to do it yourself. You may consider website templates as an alternative way as well. They will definitely do the job.

Network Design Process - Effective Network Planning and Design

Overview

The network planning and design methodology describes a process with 9 specific steps and a sequence for those activities. As mentioned it is an engineering life cycle that supports technical initiatives such as Windows migration, IP telephony and wireless design to name a few examples. The methodology begins with examining company business requirements. It is absolutely essential that you understand the company business model, business drivers and how they are growing from a business perspective. That will build the foundation for a design proposal that serves the business, technical and operational requirements of the company.

STEP 1: BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

Network Design Process - Effective Network Planning and Design

Any design project starts with an understanding of what the company does and what they need to accomplish from a business perspective. This begins with an understanding of their business model, which really describes how their company works from an operational and business perspective to generate revenues and reduce costs. Many vendors today have conducted their own return on investment (ROI) studies for new implementations such as Unified Communications and Telephony. It is an effective sales tool that illustrates the cost benefits compared with investment over a specified period of time.

This is a list of some typical business drivers:

• Reduce Operating Costs

• Generate Revenue

• Client Satisfaction

• Employee Productivity

This is a list of some typical project business requirements:

• Budget Constraints

• Office Consolidations

• Company Mergers and Acquisitions

• Business Partner Connectivity

• Telecommuter Remote Access

• Implement New Offices and Employees

• New Data Center Applications

• Reduce Network Outage Costs

• Cost Effective Network Management

• Vendor Contracts

STEP 2: DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

Now that you understand the basic business requirements of the company, you can determine the standard and specific design requirements. The design requirements process is focused on defining requirements from a technical perspective. Those requirements along with the business requirements will build the framework that is used to define infrastructure, security and management. Design requirements are defined as standard and miscellaneous. The standard design requirements are generic and represent those considered with many design projects. Miscellaneous requirements are those that aren't defined with any of the standard requirements.

Standard Design Requirements

• Performance

• Availability

• Scalability

• Standards Compatibility

• Rapid Deployment

STEP 3: NETWORK ASSESSMENT

A network assessment is conducted after we have finished the business and design requirements of the company. A network assessment provides a quick snapshot of the current network with an examination of the infrastructure, performance, availability, management and security. That information is utilized for making effective strategy recommendations and design proposals to the client concerning specific information systems modifications. The network assessment model has 3 sequential activities, which are assessment, analysis and recommendations. The current network is examined using five primary surveys: infrastructure, performance, availability, management and security. When the surveys are completed, the information collected is then reviewed for trends, problems and issues that are negatively affecting the network.

STEP 4: INFRASTRUCTURE SELECTION

After doing an network assessment we are ready to start selecting specific infrastructure components for the network design. This phase starts building the infrastructure with a specific sequence that promotes effective equipment selection and design. It is important that you consider business requirements, design requirements and the network assessment when building your infrastructure.

The following numbered list describes the specific infrastructure components and their particular sequence.

1. Enterprise WAN Topology

2. Campus Topology

3. Traffic Model

4. Equipment Selection

5. Circuits

6. Routing Protocol Design

7. Addressing

8. Naming Conventions

9. IOS Services

10. Domain Name Services

11. DHCP Services

STEP 5: SECURITY STRATEGY

We must now define a security strategy for securing the infrastructure. The need for enterprise network security shouldn't be ignored with the proliferation of the Internet. Companies are continuing to leverage the public infrastructure for connecting national and international offices, business partners and new company acquisitions. The security requirements and network assessment recommendations should drive the selection of security equipment, protocols and processes. It identifies what assets must be protected, what users are allowed access and how those assets will be secured.

STEP 6: NETWORK MANAGEMENT STRATEGY

This section will define a network management strategy for managing all equipment defined from infrastructure and security. It is necessary to define how the equipment is going to be monitored and determine if the current management strategy is adequate or if new applications, equipment, protocols and processes must be identified. Management components are then integrated with infrastructure and security to finish building the proposed design. These primary elements comprise any well-defined management strategy and should be considered when developing your strategy.

• 7 Management Groups

• SNMP Applications

• Monitored Devices and Events

STEP 7: PROOF OF CONCEPT

All infrastructure, security and management components must now be tested with a proof of concept plan. It is important to test the current design, configuration and IOS versions in a non-production environment or on the production network with limited disruption. Implementation of newer network modules at a router, for instance, could require that you change the current IOS version that is implemented. Making those changes could affect WAN or campus modules already installed at production routers. That is the real value of doing a proof of concept and certifying that the new equipment and IOS versions integrate with each device as well as the network. The following list describes the advantages of doing a proof of concept with your network design. The proof of concept test results should be examined and used to modify current infrastructure, security and management specifications before generating a design proposal. The proof of concept model suggested here involves prototype design, equipment provisioning, defining tests, building equipment scripts and examining test results.

1. Prototype Design

2. Provision Equipment

3. Define Tests

4. Build Equipment Scripts

5. Review Test Results

STEP 8: DESIGN PROPOSAL/REVIEW

With the proof of concept finished, you are now ready to build a design proposal for the design review meeting. Your intended audience could be the Director, CIO, CTO, Senior Network Engineer, Consultant or anyone that is approving a budget for the project. It is important to present your ideas with clarity and professionalism. If a presentation is required, power point slides work well and could be used to support concepts from the design proposal document. The focus is on what comprises a standard design proposal and the sequence for presenting that information.

The working design proposal is presented to the client after addressing any concerns from proof of concept assurance testing. The design review is an opportunity for you to present your design proposal to the client and discuss any issues. It is an opportunity for the client to identify concerns they have and for the design engineer to clarify issues. The focus is to agree on any modifications, if required, and make changes to the infrastructure, security and management before implementation starts. Business and design requirements can change from when the project started which sometimes will necessitate changes to infrastructure, security and management specifications. Any changes should then go through proof of concept testing again before final changes to the design proposal.

STEP 9: IMPLEMENTATION

The final step will have us defining an implementation process for the specified design. This describes a suggested implementation methodology of the proposed design, which should have minimal disruption to the production network. As well it should be efficient and as cost effective as possible. As with previous methodologies there is a sequence that should be utilized as well.

Once the implementation is finished, there is monitoring of the network for any problems. Design and configuration modifications are then made to address any problems or concerns. The Book Network Planning and Design Guide, is available at amazon.com and ebookmall.com

Free Funeral Program Template

Utilizing a free funeral program template can be a wise and time saving choice. If you are interested in putting in a little creativity in the production of a funeral program design, the result can be beautiful. The first thing you need to do is download a free funeral program template for Microsoft Word. When you open the funeral program template on your computer, it will have the text and format already in place for you.

To edit those fields, simply click on the text boxes and begin customizing your text. The free funeral program template is formatted in a two column letter size layout. There will be two pages that you will need to customize. The first page is the front cover on the right and the back of the program on the left.

On the front cover, choose a beautiful background scene as the design that displays behind the photo of the deceased. This makes the cover more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. To select a nice photo, you can purchase it from a stock photograph online or better yet, take the photo yourself. If you purchase it online, you will need to make sure you have the proper license to print the number of copies you are going to print. The online stock companies adhere to very strict guidelines on the usage terms. So make sure you are clear about what it is you are allowed. You can also phone them and get clarification.

Sometimes, the stock photo companies will charge by the amount of copies to be printed. The better option is to take a photo yourself and use that as your background. Some ideas of backgrounds would be a rolling hill landscape, floral garden, sky with light beaming through the clouds, or a lake landscape scene. All of these are good candidates for a front cover of your funeral program template.

The photo of the deceased should be situated in front of the landscape design with the name of the deceased under the photo. The date of birth and date of death should also be placed under the name. You can create a title for the front cover that reads "In Loving Memory of..." or "Celebrating the Life of..." in a nice script font above the photo. These things wiill make for a nice presentation.

The back of the program, which is the area adjacent to the cover on the left side of the letter size paper would include a poem, pallbearers names, short obituary, or prayer. At the very bottom, you can note the location of the funeral service, address, and phone number if you like. Also indicate whether or not there will be a gathering after the service and indicate the location.

The second page is the area for the order of service. If you can fit the order of service on one side of the page, you can use the other side of the page for a poem, reading, prayer, or song lyrics. You can also add some design elements into the internal page that coordinates nicely with the cover design you just created.

Funeral program templates are a time-saving tool because it will save you the time it takes to create the layout of a letter size paper program. If your not familiar with Microsoft Word or don't have a lot of experience using it, it can be a frustrating experience doing it yourself. Utilize a funeral program template and just embellish it with your own creativity by following the above guidelines.

There aren't many resources on the web today that offer free funeral program templates but there are some good resources noted below for you to visit and try. I should note, that if you choose to create a funeral program from a free template, you will need to be familiar with Microsoft Word or Publisher in order to manipulate it. You will need to know how to create image boxes, insert photo within the image boxes, import images into the template, and move graphical elements around the page.
